It’s reasonable to assume that hackers, scammers, and even law enforcement officials can be found on these chat services. In addition, law enforcement officials sometimes venture onto the dark web in an attempt to catch wrongdoers. They might even attempt to trick people into partaking in illegal activities as part of a “honey-pot operation”.
